Speaking about the heart and soul of Gathered Voices is both a privilege and a sacred responsibility. From the very beginning, this ministry has been rooted in a biblical vision, uniting people from every background to worship God in spirit and in truth, through the powerful language of choir and orchestra. I have long believed that music is one of God’s greatest gifts to the church: a way for us to offer praise, to break down barriers, and to witness the beauty of His kingdom, together.
Scripture teaches us that worship is not just a song, but a posture of unity and surrender, “so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ” (Romans 15:6). In Gathered Voices, every singer and every instrumentalist, no matter their story or tradition, becomes part of a living tapestry of praise. Our harmonies, drawn from both sacred liturgy and vibrant gospel, reflect the diversity of God’s people and the unity He desires for us all.
This movement was born from a longing to see the walls that divide us fall away in the presence of true worship. I have witnessed how God uses music to heal, to inspire, and to call us into deeper fellowship, not just with Him, but with one another. When we lift our voices and instruments together, we become a glimpse of heaven on earth: a family gathered, every heart and every note offered in worship.
Unity is not just an ideal; it is our calling. The choir and orchestra serve as a living example of the body of Christ: many parts, yet one purpose. In this space, every gift matters, every voice is valued, and every act of service brings us closer to the vision of God’s kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.
Gathered Voices is more than an ensemble, it is a movement of faith, hope, and love. As we look ahead to the day when thousands join in worship, I invite you to become part of this story. Whether you are a singer, musician, volunteer, or supporter, your involvement is vital. Together, let us answer the call to worship, build bridges, and to show the world the unity and diversity found in Christ.
I have committed my life believing that when we join our voices and hearts, God does immeasurably more than we could ask or imagine! This is not just about music, it is about glorifying God, building community, and reflecting the love of Christ that unites us all.
Let us raise a sound that echoes the heart of God: one of unity, worship, and belonging. Together, let’s become the 'gathered voices' that inspire, uplift, and transform!
With unity and hope,
Dr. Christian Vigé
